Great customer service, ended up purchasing straight 4 seater with ottoman in Archetype Smoke after my trial. Easy to put together, directions were impeccable. Fabric seems easy to clean and looks great.

    • 10 Year Warranty

Designed to last! Every frame that leaves our factory comes with a 10-year warranty against defects and normal wear and tear. If any piece breaks or becomes damaged under regular use, we'll send a replacement part - no cost to you* and nothing to ship back. It's that simple.

The frame material is not as smooth as plywood. But what this board gives up in looks, it makes up in strength and ecological advantage. It doesn’t come from old-growth forests but sustainably farmed young, quick-growing trees. The production process uses the entire tree, and this material’s shear strength can be up to 2-times greater than plywood. Serving your household over time is how it proves to be a beautiful thing.

    Made to Order

We're on a mission to reimagine the furniture industry. Why? Because it overproduces and undervalues renewability, leading to wasted resources and furniture that doesn’t last or adapt.

That's why every Home Reserve piece is made to order and designed to be renewed. If you don’t need it, we don’t make it. If you do, we ensure it’s built to fit your life and serve you for years to come.

      Trial armless deep seat

I’ve ordered the armless deep seat to see if I would like the sectional from Home Reserve. The seat arrived in two boxes and after identifying all the parts needed my son and I proceeded with the assembly. When reading through the assembly instructions you have to be mindful that you are on the correct page for your seating group because there are several assembly instructions for different seats. We didn’t realize right away and were confused why at some point our marked pieces didn’t have the correct lettering. I made a phone call to Home Reserve, talked to customer support and was asked if I was on the correct page for my seat. That is when I realized I had the wrong pages. Long story short, we finished putting the seat together, sat on it and one of my dogs also uses the seat daily and it is holding up nicely. I like the style and color that I have chosen and went ahead last week to order the rest of the sectional.

It takes some time to assemble but I think it is worth it. Everything looks well made and I would also add that you need to use the included sanding block to smooth out some areas of the wood to facilitate covering the fabric over it since everything is very tightly sewn. Using the sanding block definitely helps.

Now, I’m just waiting for the rest of the sectional to arrive!

I'm so grateful and happy with this purchase.

I need something large enough that could hold up to my 5 dogs and 3 cats and still leave us room for us in a rather small, strangely shaped room. Home Reserve gave me that. I did hire someone to put it all together for me, but it was worth it. Love the color and material. It's very sturdy. I have peace of mind knowing if the cats claw it or the dogs damage anything, I can easily replace that part.

      Super comfy sample

Love the idea of a sample sent to try. So easy to put together! Not that it wasn't a lot of work, but it was simple to do and the directions were very specific and helpful.

Can't wait to order the rest!

I didn't need 60 days to determine I wanted to move forward with my full sectional through Home Reserve. It was more like 60 seconds. As soon a I sat on the piece, I knew this was exactly what I was looking for. It's so comfortable! I'm a tall girl. The deep seat fits me perfectly. and supports so well! Can't wait to receive the rest of my order. I'm so excited to get it all together and really lounge on it! Some folks made it sound like putting it together was a challenge. I actually thought it was fun and I enjoyed the entire experience.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    • What is the No-Risk Trial?

It lets you buy a single Armless or Wide Armless unit and try it at home for 60 days before committing to a full sectional or sofa. Assemble it, sit on it, live with it — if you don't love it, send it back in the original packaging for a full refund.

Note: $49 Priority Fulfillment Fee is non-refundable if selected at checkout.

    • What's included in the refund if I return it?

A full refund (except the $49 Priority Fulfillment Fee, if selected), including shipping both ways. Box it up in the original packaging and we'll arrange a free pickup with our carrier from your doorstep — no cost to you.

    • How is this different from your standard return policy?

No-Risk Trial units get 60 days and a full refund including both-way shipping (minus the $49 Priority Fulfillment Fee, if selected). Standard full-layout returns are a 30-day window with a 15% restocking fee, and the customer covers return shipping.

    • If I love it, can I use the trial unit as part of my full order?

Yes. For pre-built layouts, there's a step that asks if you already have a No-Risk Trial unit — check "yes." For custom layouts, just build it with one less Armless or Wide Armless unit, since you already own one from the trial.

    • Can I choose my fabric and style for the trial unit?

Yes. It comes in the same fabric colors and back styles as our full sectionals, so what you try is exactly what you'd get in your final order.

    • How long does the trial unit take to ship?
