60-Day No Risk Trial

I ordered the trial armless chair in archetype silt color. I had ordered at least 10 sample fabrics and I settled on that color, which is a nice grey-brown. I was tempted to bypass the trial, but my son in law strongly recommended that I try it, so I did. I’m so glad that I listened to him because that color did not look well in my living room. My living room doesn’t get a lot of natural light, so it just looked more grey than brown. I called customer service and they switched out my fabric to archetype cafe, a deeper brown color. It was so easy! The new covers arrived in about three days. I switched them out and I love these new ones.

The chair itself is very sturdy and comfy. I admit when I saw all the flake board, I was very skeptical, but once I had it all put together and the cushions in place, it was so comfortable! Even my uncle, who complains about everything said it’s very plush. Within a few days, I ordered the rest of my sectional and I’m very excited for the delivery. Please do not bypass the trial armless chair step. Fabric colors look different in various lighting types and can appear different with wall paint color and accessories, so you will be so glad you ordered it!

Before buying a whole couch we tried this seat in the fabric we liked (Maltese silver grey). It was straightforward to put together myself using just a screwdriver. There was one connection piece that came w the plastic broken but it wasn't necessary for the solo seat. I'm 5'4" and my legs won't touch the ground without an extra throw pillow behind them, which we plan on having when the rest of the couch pieces, so it isn't a big issue for me. The bonus storage is going to be great for storing blankets and games, too. And to be able to wash the fabric is simply a key item of value as well. We went ahead and ordered enough for a med couch since we liked the trial so much. And we really like the sustainable, made in USA practices of the company.

We received our test-chair, assembled it, which was very easy all by myself and it seems very comfortable. The chair itself is just one part of the Couch and doesn’t have any arms. That fact makes it a bit difficult to get the right feeling of a whole couch. But we are very positive that this will work for us. What also sold us was the fact, the hair of one of our dogs, who is shedding a lot!, can barely be seen on the fabric. We also like the storage in that chair. But we will get the liner for it, because the wood frame of the chair is pretty rough.

We will definitely buy the rest of what we need.

My son has had this couch for over two years, and it handled one apartment move. The cushions are still firm (and he uses it every day!). The color looks great. It's nice that you can rotate the cushions as they are the same size. Fabric cleans easily. There is a surprisingly large amount of storage. Best of all, it's not heavy, so when he moved, it was easy. I'd honestly buy this again.
