Our sectional naming system describes the features and dimensions.
Seat Depth
Seat depth refers to the size of the seat cushions. Standard depth is great for smaller rooms, while deep seats are great for larger frames.This is used at the beginning of the product titles for preset layouts:
- Standard L-Shaped Large Left Sectional
- Deep Open-Ended Medium Left Sectional

Seat Width
Seat width refers to the length of an armless or end unit, which determines how much space you have between cushion seams.The “wide” label is added to the beginning of the product titles, while regular width seats don’t use the label at all:

Overall Sectional Size
These size labels describe the overall size of the sectional, which is largely determined by the total number of units that make it up.The size label is in the product title, after seat depth and layout shape:
