I bought a house with a strange long narrow space with a TV on one wall and a fireplace on a perpendicular wall. After spending quite a bit of time researching furniture arrangement for dual-focus rooms, I decided on a sectional and then spent quite a bit of time evaluating those options in terms of options, price, fabric, etc. I had never heard of Home Reserve before, but it looked like the best option for me given the size of the furniture, the versatility of potential layouts, the price point, the fabric options, etc. There were 2 things I wasn’t quite sure about given other reviews – seat depth and height of the back cushions. I’m just under 6’ tall, so I wanted something comfy. Rather than do the trial, I just decided to go for it (and I’m glad I did – no issues with seat depth or cushion height with the Laney!). I drew up a layout for myself, but realized I had a piece in there that didn’t exist. I emailed Home Reserve Support on a Monday night and received a response from Steph within 90 minutes. So fast! I emailed back and forth with Steph quite a bit, and they even put together some potential layouts in their showroom because I was asking about the potential to do some kind of unconventional things in my space. Their pictures helped me figure out exactly what I needed, which included a piece that existed, but wasn’t listed online with the sectionals! I was able to get an armless chair and a half plus a corner ottoman, which was the perfect “lounger” piece for the end of the sectional near the fireplace! As many people have remarked – customer service is AMAZING! The pieces all arrived and we had quite the stack of boxes. Since I ordered 8 pieces, I had quite a bit to put together, but as others have said, once you get going, it starts to move relatively quickly. Sanding the pieces down did take a while, but it wasn’t too bad, and it definitely made life easier once they were sanded. One tip – my boyfriend laughed at me for this, but it helped contain the mess – sit in one of the box bottoms while you do your sanding! One of my boxes didn’t come with the right hardware packet, but as soon as I let support know, they overnighted the right set to me immediately. Once I got it all put together, it was awesome! The 2 ottomans connected to the sectional are connected on the bottom using a few C-clamps from the hardware store - works perfectly and didn't require cutting extra holes in the wood/fabric. Everyone who has seen it or sat on it has commented that it was a great choice for the space and it’s comfy. I did get the washable fabric because of the 132 lb French Mastiff you see in the picture, and the picture is after washing all of the cushion and pillow covers – everything came out of the wash looking great and went back on with ease! I think I’ve recommended Home Reserve sectionals to just about everyone I know at this point. The customer service is top notch and the furniture was just what I needed!
