We are quite pleased with our Brook Couch, it even arrived a week before my sketchy math said it would. The instructions were easy to follow though I'd recommend both a helper and a powered screwdriver to speed assembly. The couch is also very comfy.
I moved from Colorado with a 5x9 trailer and no furniture other than a recliner. I spent a couple of weeks looking at every kind of sectional and I just kept coming back to the home reserve site because it was the only place I found that gave me the flexibility I needed to find furniture that fit all of my needs: small space, pets, and quality. My sectional arrived today in five boxes, and my son-in-law and I set to work. It took us 3 1/2 hours, but we are both admittedly meticulous. I am WELL pleased with both the look and the comfort of this furniture. You have gained a fan.
We purchased the Tux couch and an ottoman in April 2020. Customer service kept us up to date on delivery which was great. Assembly was easy. It's almost two years later, with two new small dogs added to our one in December 2020. We ordered the stain resistant washable fabric for the couch. With three small dogs, (two who we adopted in December 2020) who are all diggers, and have a habit of scratching at the cushions the fabric has shown no wear at all. I'm not always faithful in cutting their nails so I am extremely happy with the fabric. I have washed the fabric on two of the cushions and after following the instructions from the website all turned out great. I can't say enough about the customer service at Home Reserve. We had a deck break and all I did was email support, give them the number on the deck piece and I had the replacement within a week. If you are wavering, even a little, do not hesitate to order from Home Reserve, you will not be disappointed.
I've had my Home Reserve pieces for 4 years now. I've had the three sections in 3 different arrangements, love the flexibility.
My grandson jumped on it and broke the wooden piece under the cushions, they replaced it and told me about a stronger type (without the fabric in the middle - solid wood). We don't notice the difference.
Now I notice the front edge of the foam is compressed. So I just removed the cover and turned the foam around so I'll get another 4 years, at least. I didn't notice if the pieces are perfectly square, but if they are I could get 12 more years out of them! This, after feeling guilty all my life whenever a 'regular' piece of furniture became broke or worn and had to be tossed at the dump.
Ordered a 7 piece sectional and got it together in a weekend. It wasn’t zero effort. A little messy and there were a couple cracked boards but I think it was from the delivery guy throwing them over the gate…
I love the color, the fabric, and the look. It’s a little firm however, not uncomfortable but firm. I looked at the comments and don’t see anything consistent about it being too firm or if it breaks down and gets softer. Do the bottom foam cushions get softer? Will it get to the point where you sink into it?
To future buyers it is a firm couch feel. You sit down and it doesn’t give much. It’s not a cushy couch, at least at first. Can the company comment and let me now if it breaks down over time and maybe approximately how long it takes to soften up? Or maybe if walking on the cushions will make it softer?
But other than that I do love it. The fabric seems to vacuum well (doesn’t hold in dog fur). And it’s a great addition to the living room. Aesthetically it is very pleasing. I still need to put together the chair and half and second ottoman but I need a break. Power drill is your best friend for this. Also a heavier grit sandpaper is better than what they send, FYI… and probably wearing some real work gloves would have been better than the fabric ones they send for sanding. I didn’t wear the gloves because they were to big for me and my partner did the sanding. It’s also much better to have two people help assemble to hold the parts together. It’s amazing that it all came in boxes and the instructions were fairly easy to follow once got the hang of it. Thanks HR!!!
With the sectionals, mostly interested in the U shaped designs, but does something lock all the individual sectional pieces together. I can just picture my kids jumping on the couch and pieces moving out of alignment. Does that make sense? :)
I am SO pleased with everything about Home Reserve and my sectional couch! It arrived three weeks earlier than expected, was super easy to follow the directions, and the fact that it’s American made with resourceful products just makes my heart sing 💕 Thank you! Thank you!
Hi, I am just wondering when you anticipate to have the fabrics that are "out of stock" available again.
Questions: Can your sofas or couches be attached to each other or the modular pieces? For example, attaching 2 sofas and some ottomans for a long sectional (vs multiple chairs). Also, I would love if you offered a deeper seat (Or made your lounger with a taller back)! If those customizations are available, please let me know.
Thank you!
What’s the weight capacity of the modular sectionals?
