I'd also like to add an additional comment and picture to my story above ( because I do so love how rearrangeable the modular pieces are) Last weekend I discovered an entire pint of rotten strawberries that had been dumped behind the couch (by some child who shall remain nameless) and I was able to CLEAN it all off the couch and move on with my life without a stain or scrub because my washing machine did all the work! Now the strawberries are gone, no children were maimed and my livingroom smells like fabric softener.... Amazing!!!! And yes they do jump from the trampoline to the couch to the trampoline...they're kids! If the couch can take it then so can I, excercise is good stuff!

My Homereserve couch is going on it's 8th year and is still going strong!
It has survived 4 little children, 1 puppyhood and 3 moves like a champ! It's been stabbed, covered in food and drink, peed on, vomited on several times, jumped on, drawn on with every medium imaginable, rearranged a million times over and has built 100 plus couch forts on rainy days. At home my kids are allowed to jump on the couch and put their shoes on the furniture. This has been our main piece of furniture in the livingroom through 4 baby/toddlerhoods. This couch has even outlasted my husband and shows less wear than him!
I love how I can WASH the covers when its looking dumpy and rearrange the pieces when the room layout grows stale. It's been through many, many washes. One child stabbed it with scissors 6 years ago and the holes havnt run. The fabric is just as soft as day 1. When it comes out of the dryer it smells amazing and freshens the whole room.
I ADORE being able to hide clutter away inside the couch. There's about 20 pairs of shoes and 15 games and 4 blankets in there right now....This is a great couch, I love it. It has served my family well!

We were in the market for a new couch with storage and washable covers. I found you guys totally by accident and decided to order. The instructions were wonderful and so incredibly easy to follow. The pieces were clearly numbered and we only had to make 2 minor cuts with a roto tool for something that didn't fit right. It fit perfectly into our little house. Our door openings are small and we would not be able to fit an already put together item through the door. We love it!! My only suggestion is that the wood be sanded. Even with the gloves that were provided, I had a ton of splinters and the wood grabs and splinters onto the covers and cushions. Can't wait to order some replacement covers to change out the look! Thanks

We took out the sofa/bed in our motorhome and replaced it with this loveseat. I like how it could be assembled inside the motorhome because we cannot fit an assembled one through the door.

    Thanks for the great product!

We had a worn jack knife sofa bed in our motorhome that was driving my wife bezerk. Someone on an RV forum suggestion Home Reserve. I looked at the different models and sizes, and chose the one in the picture. We were, and still are, amazed that it was shipped in two boxes via UPS. After opening the packages, we were a bit intimidated, until I started looking at the instructions. It took us around 2 hours to completely assemble it in our motorhome. The assembly went smoothly and it was great to get a nice loveseat and not have to take out a window to get it in. Thank you for your wonderful product!

Hi.. this is Kelly from Denver. I looked into the copamny, and loved their selections, but unfortunately none fit my space (I have VERY strict/tight measurements). Thanks for all your help though. Maybe someday I can buy one!

I just finished putting together my Ray sectional. It really looks great. I've gotten compliments on the look and I like the firm seat. Yet, I'm not sure how much use it will get. I'm not sure this sofa is meant for taller people. There is no deep couch sitting. Feels like the seat needs about 4 to 6 more inches of depth for people 5'9" and above.

    • Kali,
Thanks for your comment. The seat cushions are designed to be pulled forward about 2″-3″ and that should help with your seat depth.

My mom found The Home Reserve online and immediately referred me to their website. I was in need of affordable furniture after moving into a new apartment, and this furniture was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered swatches first; they arrived quickly, and I was impressed with the quality of the fabrics. My first furniture purchase was the ottoman. My dad put it together for me, so I don't know how easy or difficult it was, but it looked great. I ordered the Ray Couch shortly after. The boxes it all came in were easy to get through the narrow staircases and hallways of my apartment building. My boyfriend and I put the couch together, and I was impressed by how easy it actually was. It took us maybe 3-4 hours, but the majority of that time was spent on the fabric and padding which was the most tedious part. Getting the fabric on was not difficult: it just took a while to get it straight. They provide you with gloves and sandpaper which makes the process easier. Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with my new couch and ottoman. The quality is even better than I had expected, and the fact that I assembled my own couch makes it even better,

I found Home Reserve by accident - I was having a hard time finding a chair-and-a-half and Googled "chair-and-a-half". I was in the market for living room furniture as well, but had already decided what I was going to purchase: a couch and loveseat with removable, washable slipcovers (I have pets). However, I was impressed with Home Reserve. I like that it is sustainable and manufactured in the United States by a family-owned company. It was also more affordable than what I had been considering - I got the couch, loveseat, chair-and-a-half, and ottoman for about what i was going to pay for just a couch and loveseat from the other retailer. I was a bit nervous about buying furniture without seeing it and sitting on it to check for comfort, but I have been quite satisfied. The furniture was delivered by the promised delivery date, was easy to put together, and is comfortable and attractive.

I just received my armless sectional unit in Altima Toast. I can't believe how easy it was to put together, I don't think it took 20 minutes and it was all together and looking awesome. I really recommend wearing the included gloves, it was a little splintery (is that even a word??). The fabric seems to be of very high quality, I have two inside dogs and two kids, so we'll see how it holds up. I especially like the idea that the whole thing is washable, with dogs and kids, you need that. Everyone fights over who's going to sit on it, it's very comfortable, the seat is firm enough that you don't sink too far in, but soft enough to be comfortable. I just can't wait to order the rest of the sectional!

I have owned the Laney sofa for 5+ years and its condition is as good as day one. The fabric still looks perfect and it's used every day! The cushions are still firm and nothing has lost its shape. However, it's the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I own. It's fine for sitting up straight (like for a waiting room or someplace) but awful for comfortable relaxing and watching TV. We need a large footstool pushed up to the edge in order to lounge comfortably. So, I plan to move it to a more decorative area and not in front of our TV. We're average sized people too.

    • Amy,
Thanks for taking time to share with us. We have since designed the comfort deck seating which gives a different sitting experience. We will be happy to send you those at no cost. Just contact customer service 1 800 482 2712

I just machine washed and dryed my sofa & chair & 1/2 covers. They came out looking great, and smelling so fresh. Furniture gets dusty after awhile. Awesome, to be able to clean this way!

This is a picture of a customer sectional using the Brook back cushion with the Ali arm. The fabric is Pulse Cocoa. While our customer wanted to share their picture, they didn't want to share their personal info and we respect their privacy. Thanks for the lovely picture.

This is fa-bolus! I had many surgeries and my husband has steel rods in his back and it is fused so we thought this would be uncomfortable but he loves it and is sleeping on it right now.Mu friends daughter spilled red juice on the fabric and it wiped right off. My husband is 6'4" and I am 5'2" and we both sit comfortably on it. This is really worth the money and very versatile.

Bought the classic chair-and-a-half several years ago to replace a large and obnoxious sleeper sofa. Because of cats and dogs, I went with the cobalt pet fabric. Chair still looks like new and is the most comfortable seat in the house. Convinced my roomie to buy a chair-and-a-half (the monroe) for her room and it's looks amazing. We are transforming a spare bedroom into a library and Home Reserve was the first place we thought to come to look for a couch/sofa/loveseat. We went with the Ali couch and the Altima pet fabric again. I Love this furniture and have sung it's praises since my first piece. Too bad they don't sell platform beds - I would have bought one of those too! :-D At this time we have 2 chair-and-a-half, 3 ottomans and a regular chair, plus the couch just ordered. This will always be the first place I look for furniture. and.....I Love putting the pieces together!!

We have a tiny apartment near Lincoln Center in Manhattan, and we wanted the most space-efficient sectional possible. Your product FAR exceeded our expectations. We LOVE it. Assembly took me about 35 minutes per section, so over the course of an evening I was able to assemble the entire set. We wanted something flexible enough to offer a guest or two with an overnight sleeping option. We didn't want a traditional sleeper sofa, so we bought two ottomans. Now we can arrange either two long "single bed" options or pull the ottomans together into a big block to make a "full size bed." This sectional set was a fraction of the price of other products.

We live and travel on a 45' Chris Craft Commander. The entry to our boat is a 21.5" door. I searched for months for a sofa that would fit through our door! I had almost decided we were going to have something custom made when I found a blog that mentioned Home Reserve.

We absolutely LOVE our sectional! It fits perfectly, gives us much-needed storage space, and is SO comfortable (my hubby is 6' 3" and I am 5' 10" and we can both lay on the couch together...and our grandkids love to nap on it...just check out our grandson's picture!)!

We also do not have room for a coffee table so the flat arms of our sectional are so handy! It was also fairly easy to assemble!

We were doing some work this week and someone got grease on the arm of the sofa...I freaked! To my suprise, it just wiped right off!

I now recommend Home Reserve to all of our boat friends! THANK YOU for your unique solutions for those of us that have small spaces...we couldn't be more thrilled!

I live full time in a 36 ft. 5th wheel trailer and was looking to modernize my love seat. Home Reserve is perfect. No trouble getting it in. The direction with pictures were clear and simple, I got the Tux love seat with the Ray back. So nice to be able to mix and match. I ordered some fabric samples and found the perfect color. I got the Altima Azua Pet Care even though I have no pets, because of the color, and I knew it would last a life time. One of the seat covers came with a TINY hole in it. I called customer service and the woman couldn't have been nicer. They are sending a replacement. I can't say enough good things about this company and the products! I love my new love seat!
